Epic Reporting & Analytics Analyst – Revenue Cycle Reporting

About the Role
Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an Epic Reporting & Analytics Analyst with a strong focus on Revenue Cycle Reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic’s reporting tools, certified knowledge of Epic’s data models, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that support hospital and professional billing operations.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Revenue Cycle reports using Clarity, Cogito, Reporting Workbench, and related tools. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards. Partner with Revenue Cycle stakeholders (Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Patient Access, Finance) to develop reports that drive operational and strategic decision-making. Maintain expertise in Epic Clarity and Revenue Data Models, ensuring effective use of data for billing and financial reporting. Perform validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing reporting solutions. Document reporting specifications, data flows, and processes to support governance and knowledge sharing. Ensure reports meet regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements for financial and patient data.
Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5+ years of Epic Reporting and Analytics experience with a focus on Revenue Cycle (Hospital & Professional Billing). Strong SQL skills with proven experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from large relational databases. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Epic Certifications in one or more of the following: Cogito Clarity Data Model (FKA Caboodle) Revenue Data Model Reporting Workbench
Contract Details Initial 3-month contract with high potential for extension through Q2 2026 Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience Remote work flexibility with occasional client site visits
