A leading global consulting and professional services firm is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive strategic partnerships with life sciences clients across drug discovery and early development. This is a high-impact role combining client relationship management, business development, and delivery leadership within the firm’s R&D practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client engagements focused on R&D and drug discovery strategy, operations, and technology enablement.
Own the full project lifecycle — from identifying client needs and scoping opportunities, to selling, delivering, and expanding relationships.
Translate complex scientific and technological challenges into actionable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Partner cross-functionally with technical and scientific experts to deliver value-driven projects in discovery science and translational R&D.
Coach and mentor junior consultants and project teams, supporting professional development and delivery excellence.
Ideal Background
10+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, strategy, or professional services with a strong record in business development and client delivery.
Proven ability to sell and deliver $1M+ in consulting or scientific service revenue annually.
Deep understanding of pharma discovery processes — including target identification, PK/PD modeling, and translational biology.
Familiarity with scientific and informatics tools supporting R&D workflows (ELNs, in silico methods, modeling platforms, and analytics).
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to bridge scientific expertise with technology and business strategy.
Excellent communicator who thrives in client-facing environments and can build trusted, long-term relationships.
