Pay Rate:

$37.86/hour |

Schedule:

FT/1st Shift (7am - 3:30pm)

*Start on First Shift; transition to Second Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM CT) after proficiency is established

As an Airworthiness Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring every aircraft meets the highest standards of safety and compliance before it takes flight. Your expertise will directly impact the quality, reliability, and performance of some of the most advanced aircraft in the world.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on inspection role, you’ll serve as the final authority ensuring that all maintenance, repairs, and alterations conform to FAA regulations and company standards. Your day will include:

Conducting detailed inspections of aircraft, engines, and components to verify conformity with FAA-approved data.

Coordinating inspection and mechanical requirements during aircraft maintenance and outfitting.

Reviewing and signing off on aircraft documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and compliant for return to service.

Auditing maintenance documentation and performing conformity inspections for FAA presentation.

Mentoring technicians on proper documentation and compliance procedures.

Monitoring ongoing Repair Station compliance with FAR Part 145 and the Quality Control Manual.

Supporting aircraft certification and final phase testing, which may include flight test support.

Qualifications – What You Bring

Required (Non-Negotiable):

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience inspecting large or mid-size aircraft

Extensive experience with Transport Category Aircraft

Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), FAA forms, and documentation

Skilled in blueprint reading, shop mathematics, and Quality Control (QC) procedures

Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English

Ability to work all shifts, climb ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 40 lbs

Highly Preferred:

Familiarity with Company product lines and processes

Prior experience in the aerospace industry

Local candidates strongly preferred

Pay Details:

$37.86 per hour
