Responsibilities
Establishes the proper operating parameters for equipment by checking or entering settings on the HMI computer monitor or by manually turning switches, dials, levers or knobs.
Manually loads ingredients, lids, and/or cups into equipment.
Manually records production, equipment test, and quality assurance data on forms.
Visually checks the interior and exterior surfaces of equipment to verify cleanliness after manual, CIP, and COP tank cleaning and sanitation processes are complete.
Contacts the quality assurance department after cleaning to do an ATP swab test or conduct the test if authorized.
Follows instructions from quality assurance, based on the results of the swab test.
Communicates with associates in person to convey information about work in process, production schedules, production problems, or to request assistance or get instructions on how to perform a task.
Participates in pass down meetings or informal shift change meetings by communicating or obtaining information about the status of work, recipes to run, the cleaning process, andequipment or other issues.
Attends meetings and training sessions to obtain or maintain the information, knowledge and skills needed to successfully perform the job.
Assist with peer-to-peer training, SOP, and SSOP.
Plans when to start/stop production to hit shift goals, calculates amount of raw materials needed to attain shift goals.
Requirements
HS Diploma or Equivalent.
Ability to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
Willingness to work overtime.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to wear required safety attire, which may include wearing a hairnet, safety glasses, and/or a bump cap for the duration of your workday.
PPE - MUST wear steel toe boots, this is required to enter the facility.
