Job Details – CVOR RN Travel Contract Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Location: Vero Beach, Florida 32960 (Florida nursing jobs) Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital Start Date: November 18, 2025 End Date: February 17, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:30) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2120 - $2180 On-Call: Cardiac call required (2-3 days per week, minimum 6 per month; may be up to 10 if short-staffed) Charting: EPIC EMR Scrub Color: Ceil Blue Parking: Free in any unrestricted space Qualifications – CVOR Registered Nurse Minimum 18 months of direct CVOR nursing experience required (2 years preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (pending license accepted) BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification required prior to start Nicotine-free (negative 10-panel cotinine drug screen required) Ability to pass EKG and Pharm test during orientation (2 attempts max each) First-time travel nurses accepted All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) 2 references from direct supervisors/managers required CVOR RN Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR), including circulating and scrubbing for cardiac surgical procedures Participate in cardiac call rotation as scheduled Assist with cardiac procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, MAZE, and more Float within scope to meet facility needs Comply with infection control, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety protocols Ensure accurate specimen handling and labeling Participate in universal protocol (time out) procedures and wound management Complete all required modules and orientation tasks promptly Ready to join a top healthcare team in Vero Beach, Florida?
