Dual-Boarded Critical Care Cardiologist Physician at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is an AHA Level 1 CICU with a 54-bed Medical and Surgical Cardiovascular ICU. Join our team of 6 dual-trained Critical Care Cardiologists. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a dual-boarded Critical Care Cardiologist to join our team managing Medical and Surgical CICU patients. In this role, you will join physician-led teams of Cardiology fellows, residents, interns, and critical care-trained APPs. Standard shift expectations for full-time Medical CICU providers is 15 weeks per year. Scheduling is flexible based on individual\'s clinical preferences for Medical CICU, Surgical CICU, and Cardiology. During non-clinical weeks, providers are encouraged to participate in departmental activities. MedStar Health offers considerable opportunities in research and leadership development. Responsibilities
Manage Medical and Surgical CICU patients as part of physician-led teams. Collaborate with Cardiology fellows, residents, interns, and critical care-trained APPs. Fulfill standard 15 weeks per year in Medical CICU; schedule with flexibility based on clinical preferences for Medical CICU, Surgical CICU, and Cardiology. Participate in departmental activities during non-clinical weeks. Engage in opportunities for research and leadership development within MedStar Health. Qualifications
Must be board-certified in both Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine (CCM). Commitment to clinical excellence. Broad cognitive and technical skills in the critical care setting. Ability to communicate effectively with the medical team and families. Compensation and Benefits
Base salary plus incentive compensation (years of experience considered). Generous PTO. Annual CME allowance. Medical license reimbursement. This position has a hiring range of USD $395,000.00 - USD $480,000.00 / Yr.
