Manufacturing Engineering Manager
responsible for developing, scaling, and optimizing advanced manufacturing processes for satellite and launch hardware. This role will build the foundation of a manufacturing-centric culture-driving efficiency, quality, and innovation in a rapidly growing production environment. Key Responsibilities
Establish scalable, repeatable manufacturing processes for complex hardware Oversee facilities layout, tooling, and process control systems Define standards for converting eBOMs to mBOMs and maintain documentation Implement training programs for assembly and integration technicians Lead the selection and integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM) Establish KPIs to measure safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance Collaborate with design teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Test (DFT) Lead corrective action efforts for quality or process non-conformances Education & Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering 5+ years in manufacturing engineering within aerospace, automotive, or related fields Minimum 2 years in leadership or management roles Proven experience standing up new production lines or scaling manufacturing operations Technical Expertise
Strong command of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies Hands-on experience with MES/ERP systems and PLM workflows Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and regulated production environments Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and precision hardware manufacturing Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred U.S. Person status required under export control regulations Seniority level
