About Us:

We are a forward-thinking interventional pain practice dedicated to delivering comprehensive, multimodal care to patients living with chronic pain. We believe that effectively managing pain often requires integrated behavioral health interventions in addition to procedural and physical therapies. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, anesthesiologists, physical therapists, and other providers to offer a biopsychosocial approach to healing.

Position Summary: We are seeking a licensed mental health clinician (e.g. LPC, or Psychologist) to provide assessment, psychotherapy, and behavioral medicine support to patients dealing with chronic pain and related mental health comorbidities (e.g. depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, pain catastrophizing). The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a medical environment, collaborating with interventional pain providers, and applying evidence-based modalities to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct biopsychosocial assessments of patients with chronic pain Provide individual, group, or couples therapy tailored to pain, mood, and behavioral health Integrate pain psychology modalities (e.g. cognitive behavioral therapy for pain, acceptance and commitment therapy, pain coping skills training) Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary care planning Monitor patient progress, outcomes, and adjust interventions accordingly Consult with medical providers regarding psychological factors influencing pain and compliance Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and quality improvement Maintain documentation, billing, and compliance with regulatory standards Help develop or refine protocols, educational materials, or group programs Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or related field Current Oklahoma license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, etc.) in good standing Experience with chronic pain populations or medical/behavioral medicine preferred Training or familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapies (CBT, ACT, mindfulness, etc.) Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and familiarity with medical settings Good communication skills and empathy for complex medical patients Compensation & Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance Paid time off, CME / continuing education allowance 401K Supportive work environment, administrative support
