We’re looking for a
Senior Audio Visual (AV) Design Engineer
to join our growing team! If you’re passionate about designing world-class AV systems and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
Design and engineer commercial AV integration systems across education, corporate, and government sectors.
Create detailed project documentation including drawings, schematics, and system flow diagrams.
Develop Bills of Materials (BOM), labor estimates, and scopes of work for proposals and installations.
Configure and program DSP, control, and video transport systems for optimal performance.
Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams to deliver technical solutions that meet client needs.
Support commissioning, system verification, and as-built documentation.
Provide remote user training, client support, and technical mentorship to junior engineers.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in commercial AV design and engineering.
Proficiency in DSP platforms (Biamp, Symetrix, BSS, ClearOne, QSC).
Strong knowledge of networked audio protocols (Dante, AVB, Blu-Link, CobraNet).
Familiarity with video switching and transport systems (Q-Sys, Extron, AMX).
Understanding of IP networking as it applies to AV systems.
Excellent communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification and manufacturer credentials preferred.
