Position Overview: Elmhurst Hospital Center is seeking an experienced
MRI Technologist
to join its high-performing Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI experience in an acute or trauma setting and proficiency with GE equipment.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active
NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license ARRT (MRI)
or
ARMRIT
certification required Minimum
1 year of MRI experience
in an acute Level 1 Trauma Center BLS (AHA)
preferred
Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety Operate and maintain MRI equipment (GE systems) efficiently Ensure patient comfort and adherence to all imaging protocols and safety guidelines Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support diagnostic workflows
Training: Two-week orientation (9 AM–5 PM) including EPIC EMR training.
