Reporting to the CIO, our

Vice President of Enterprise Data

is a key member of the IT leadership team who will oversee the collection, management, storage, delivery, and advanced use of data across the organization. This role partners with business leaders to understand their data needs and challenges, defines a development roadmap that aligns with company objectives, and delivers high quality data solutions. This position plays an important role in defining and building the data governance program, ensuring adoption of good data management practices. Responsibilities

Manage team delivery, resource allocation, performance, and career development Establish team goals/KPIs and effectively track progress against them Responsible for overall team morale and supports a collaborative environment Be an active, decisive, strategic voice and advocate on the IT Leadership Team, driving the data vision forward, all while improving the quality of our decision making Design, build and drive overall strategy, methodology, and roadmaps for processes, systems, tools and capabilities required to produce and maintain our core data assets Work closely and collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to synthesize and provide guidance on overall data design and architecture, and drive data driving business insights Oversee the development and implementation of enterprise data management strategies to collect, store and increase usability and quality of enterprise data from multiple sources Define and execute the data integration and reporting approach to ongoing Rollins’ acquisitions Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the data space, and leverage that knowledge to identify new opportunities and best practices that can improve the company's data capabilities. This includes leadership and involvement in our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning use and best practices.

Work Environment

This is a people leadership role that will be based at our 2170 Piedmont Road campus (in office 5 days per week).

Qualifications

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements): Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field 12+ years of IT experience in large or mid-size multinational company Work effectively with all levels of management up to and including Division Directors and VPs Strong influencing and negotiating skills Dynamic leadership and management experience of multi-disciplined, technology teams with various priorities Past experience as a technical expert in engineering, data analytics, BI, machine learning, data science, etc. prior to leadership/management Hands-on experience with at least one of the leading public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud) with a strong preference for certifications Have a deep understanding of data infrastructure, systems, and tools, as well as experience building and managing large-scale data platforms Experience developing and implementing large scalable systems, best practices and standards for data management, governance, and data privacy / security, and have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations Experience in managing the entire core data tech stack, from data ingestion and storage to processing and analysis, and deploying data products and services in a scalable and reliable manner Strong team leader with skills in strategic planning, goal setting, process development, budgeting, and creating opportunities for professional development within technology teams Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities with a problem-solving aptitude Strong executive communication with ability to convey complex technical topics in easy-to-understand business terms and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners Leader with multi brand experience both domestic and international covering different systems and team structures Ability to collaborate with business leads, understand business strategy/processes, look for innovative solutions to drive business enhancements both for internal business users and external customers. Must be able to translate use cases and business needs to direct data and technology teams Passionate about experimentation, optimization, and seeking ways to innovate and improve data governance and management frameworks or methodologies
