Compensation

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Help dentists manage emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and an emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• X‑ray certification is required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Dental Assistant is also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
