Hardware Engineer – Irvine, CA

JSG is hiring a Hardware Engineer for a client in Irvine, CA. Must be a US Citizen.

Pay range: depending on experience $40-$45+ per hour.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and test electronic circuits and systems.
• Assist in the design and development of electronic systems.
• Write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures.
• Assist in the automation of test procedures and design of test fixtures.
• Perform lab and field tests of electronic systems.
• Work independently and with interdepartmental teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration, and testing experience.
• Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry.
• Knowledge of test report and procedure generation.
• Experience with OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or VHDL.
• PCB layout experience desired.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• US Citizenship only.
• Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable.
