Position Overview

The Recruiter will play a pivotal role in scaling our loan officer team by sourcing experienced mortgage professionals through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship-building. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on connecting with people, driving growth, and creating a strong recruiting brand within the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies to attract high-caliber Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating onboarding.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through social media, industry networks, and referral programs.
• Partner with leadership to understand hiring goals, market trends, and compensation strategies.
• Promote PLB Lending’s culture, value proposition, and growth opportunities to prospective candidates.
• Track recruiting metrics, report progress, and continuously refine sourcing methods for maximum impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience (mortgage or financial services industry strongly preferred).
• Proven success sourcing and hiring top-performing sales professionals or loan officers.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet aggressive hiring goals.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and CRM/ATS tools.
