Join to apply for the Recruiter role at Novig to help shape a new sports prediction market.

Novig has reimagined the sports betting landscape by building a sweepstakes-based sports prediction market that guarantees users the best lines by allowing them to play directly against friends or the market, rather than against the house. This creates a more efficient, fair, and profitable sports trading experience.

What will you do?

  • Own the end‑to‑end recruiting process across technical, product, and business roles from sourcing and outreach to closing.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements and build clear hiring plans.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent from both traditional and nontraditional channels.
  • Act as the first point of contact for candidates, ensuring a smooth, high‑touch experience throughout the process.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates to support rapid scaling.
  • Drive consistency and rigor in interview processes while championing speed and efficiency.
  • Track, analyse, and report on recruiting metrics to help the team make data‑driven decisions.
  • Represent the company brand externally and act as an ambassador in candidate interactions, events, and industry networks.
  • Ensure that every candidate who interacts with Novig becomes an advocate for the company, regardless of whether they receive an offer to join.

What are we looking for?

  • 3‑6+ years of in‑house recruiting experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Proven ability to hire across multiple functions (product, engineering, business/ops) or deep expertise in one core area with appetite to stretch.
  • Strong sourcing chops – able to go beyond LinkedIn with scrappy, creative tactics.
  • Excellent communication skills – can represent Novig effectively and sell our vision.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity with a bias toward speed, experimentation, and results.
  • Genuine passion for building teams and shaping company culture through hiring.

Nice to Have

  • Experience recruiting at an early‑stage startup (Series A/B) where systems/processes weren’t already in place.
  • Familiarity with sports, trading, or prediction markets or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in new domains.
  • Track record of closing senior/leadership hires.
  • Ability to build and iterate on recruiting infrastructure (ATS setup, interview training, process documentation).
  • Analytical mindset with comfort tracking recruiting funnel metrics and reporting to leadership.
  • Existing network of top operators/engineers that can be tapped early.
  • Technical chops (basic frontend, no‑code, or light scripting experience).
  • Experience with creative tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere CC, or others.
