Base pay range

$29.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a well-established client in California seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and helping create a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace.

Must have experience with multistate labor laws.

What You’ll Do

  • Support full-cycle recruiting - from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Lead new hire orientations and help new team members settle in successfully.
  • Manage employee insurance claims and partner with providers to resolve issues.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies - managing all records.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR audits and compliance tracking.
  • Support employee relations, policy updates, and performance management - ensuring data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Help coordinate training, development, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Stay current on all applicable labor laws to ensure compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Must have experience with multistate labor laws.
  • Solid HR generalist experience, ideally across multiple states.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
