Pay range: $105,000-$130,000 per year/DOE

Position Overview
The Night Shift Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating all maintenance activities during night operations to ensure reliable and continuous production. This role focuses on executing preventive and corrective maintenance, leading the night maintenance team, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing hands‑on support to operations. The position works closely with production and reports to Senior Maintenance leadership, ensuring alignment with plant priorities, safety standards, and long‑term maintenance goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
- Coordinates with maintenance leadership to schedule repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations to support continuous production operations.
- Develops preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
- Collaborates with the Automation Engineer by providing input on PLC programming and related control systems; supports review and implementation of approved changes.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to team members and assigns duties.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate team members to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Confers with supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
- Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
- Ensure boilers stay in compliance.
- Control storm water compliance: Housekeeping, spills and illegal discharges.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions.
- Supports compliance with local, state, and federal regulations by maintaining proper documentation, following established procedures, and reporting any concerns or deviations to senior maintenance leadership.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each fundamental task listed above satisfactorily.
- Ensures equipment uptime and reliability to support production goals.
- Troubleshoots equipment issues and guides the team on root cause analysis, temporary fixes, and permanent solutions.
- Manages contractors and vendors after hours for specialized services, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to the scope of work.
Experience for Success
- Ability to write report, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills.
- High degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instruments and blue prints.
- Knowledge of boiler systems.
- Total Production Maintenance Programs.
- Lean Six Sigma.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 10 years’ experience, required.
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is required.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of CMMS, PLCs, mechanical & electrical systems.
