Job Type: Temporary

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm and 9am to 6pm - based on needs

Payrate: $18.00 hourly.

Start date: ASAP

Job Summary

The Client Services Assistant (CSA) ensures access to medical services at all 4 locations for student populations via the phone, online or in‑person. The CSAs are part of the Patient Services Team and are assigned as needed to work the Call Center or Front Desk on multiple floors/locations. Therefore, this position serves as a vital link in the communication chain between the patient and caregiver and access to the services provided.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of high volume medical office, front desk or 3 years of call center experience.
  • 2 years experience working with Microsoft Office.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient registration, scheduling, check-in/out, and posting self‑pay medical charges and payments.
  • Ensuring that confidential patient information (demographics and insurance data) is accurately entered or updated into medical operating system.
  • Processing phone, walk‑in, and online appointment requests, tasking and instant messaging, verifying student eligibility.
  • Scanning insurance ID cards.
  • Adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Attends team meetings as assigned.
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties supporting the clinic and Patient Services Team operations.
