Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, personalized patient care through advanced testing, individualized treatment planning, and management of hormone and IV therapies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), bloodwork interpretation, gastrointestinal (GI) testing, and IV therapy oversight. This position offers the opportunity to help expand and develop the BHRT program within the practice while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed reviews of patient bloodwork and lab results to assess health status and identify potential concerns.
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient s needs and diagnostic findings.
- Review and interpret GI testing to support accurate clinical decision-making.
- Manage and oversee Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), including patient education, follow-up, and ongoing adjustments.
- Perform IV therapy procedures as needed, especially during the development and expansion of BHRT services.
- Supervise IV therapy operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
- Prescribe, order, and manage medications in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.
- Communicate with patients via the EHR portal to provide updates, address concerns, and offer treatment guidance.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Accurately document assessments, treatment plans, and patient interactions in the EHR.
- Educate patients on treatment options, medication usage, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Stay up to date on current trends and advancements in functional and integrative medicine, including hormone therapy, GI health, and IV therapy.
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with an active and unrestricted Pennsylvania license.
- Experience in functional medicine, BHRT, GI testing, or IV therapy strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation skills.
