The San Diego, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Healthcare & Long-Term Care Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California and have at least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits is preferred. Responsibilities
Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings. Draft and argue motions in open court. Interview witnesses, take and defend depositions, and prepare cases for trial. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and contribute as a self-starter and team member. Qualifications
Admitted to practice in California. 1 to 7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits preferred. Strong writing and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits
Minimum Salary: USD $135,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $180,000.00/Yr. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k with employer match. Job Details
