– responsible for supervisory leadership of Enterprise Applications technical staff and for the maintenance and enhancement of enterprise-wide systems that support Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. business. Responsibilities

Provide supervisory leadership to Enterprise Applications technical staff, including technical guidance and workload assignment. Support customers, plan implementations, coordinate upgrades, and provide ongoing support for new business applications. Manage Enterprise Applications staff in troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of system/application issues with vendors and clients, aligning application strategies with business goals. Lead, mentor, and train staff on industry best practices and technical skills. Resolve escalated issues arising from operations, coordinating with other departments as needed. Provide project management support for multiple projects assigned by IT Leadership. Deliver detailed technical and customer support for insurance business applications (e.g., ServiceNow, CRMs, agency management systems, marketing tools, collaboration and automation systems, claims and financial systems). Manage and perform application rollouts and upgrades with vendors, end-users, and IT groups. Analyze and define solutions for production issues; identify and implement system/process improvements and governance. Write and deliver custom reports and administrative documentation as requested. Build and maintain strong business relationships with staff and management at all levels. Work closely with technical support staff, administrators, developers, and Enterprise Applications staff to ensure application readiness and supportability. Assist in data cleanup activities with users and project teams for conversion purposes. Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge on enterprise applications and underlying technologies. Develop policies and procedures for all aspects of application development and maintenance, including lifecycle development strategies, testing and implementation plans, and post-implementation monitoring. Qualifications

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in computer technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ten (10) or more years of experience with application support for enterprise applications, SAAS applications, business office applications, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience working with teams using Agile methodology. Insurance industry experience. Experience with ITSM tools (ideally ServiceNow) and support frameworks. Skills

Strong knowledge of application support for enterprise applications. Knowledge of cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms; familiarity with data integration tools, APIs, and application governance and change management. Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and systems simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities. Leadership skills to motivate personnel and prioritize tasks and projects for delivery. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills (telephone and listening). Ability to work in a fast-paced team and foster teamwork. Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
