We are looking for a passionate Principal BI Engineer to join us in building the next generation data analytics platform, creating technical specification documents, and providing support for data solutions across the enterprise. Responsibilities
Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and executives to understand data needs and create innovative solutions Optimize BI dashboard quality, consistency, usability, and reliability Establish BI best practices Design semantic data layer for analytics and AI Work with data science, data engineering, and software engineering teams to automate data analysis and visualization, advise on data transformation, and explore ways to design and develop data infrastructure Qualifications
5+ years of experience with Tableau, including best practices and performance tuning Strong experience with SQL and Python Strong experience in building the semantic layer using tools such as Cube.dev, AtScale, dbt, and Dremio Experience with data catalog tools such as Informatica Thinking through long-term impacts of key design decisions and handling failure scenarios Ability to mentor a team of data analysts Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work well under pressure Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a similarly relevant field is highly preferable Compensation
The salary range for this position is $140-150K. Offers consider education, experience, skills, work location, and internal equity. This position is eligible for health insurance, 401(k) and bonus opportunity. Benefits
