We are working with a 70-year-old privately held, family-owned U.S. manufacturer and the #1 company in its product space, and have been engaged to hire an Architectural Sales Representative to grow specifications and close projects across the Mid Atlantic Region (DC, MD, VA, and DE). This position will require up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities
Supporting sales growth by gaining specification with architects throughout the assigned territory. Promotional, technical, and specification support across the product line. Active prospecting, pursuit, and follow up of opportunities for daylighting integration from concept to close. Architect, Contractor, Owner, Customer and other in-person presentations. Trade show representation. Regular, accurate, and timely reporting of sales activity and active project tracking. Sales planning and forecasting. Professional and constructive communication with customers, associates, and internal team members. Regular travel and in-person sales calls in support of distributors. Requirements
5-10 years’ experience in specification-based sales Knowledge of architectural and structural drawings Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Microsoft Office 401(k) and 401(k) matching Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Work from home Seniority level
