Overview
Role: QA Automation Engineer (Salesforce Lightning)
Location: 601 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 - Local candidates preferred

Coding Assessment Candidates to fork the repo, make their changes, then put up a Pull Request and include a link to the PR in their submission.
Responsibilities
Help create a culture that motivates teams to ensure zero defects leak into production.
Work across teams to understand enterprise quality requirements and ensure adoption of core processes and standards.
Implement the shift-left test strategy as the organization rearchitects our technology platform.
Partner with DevOps engineers to fully automate testing throughout the release & delivery processes in the CI/CD pipeline.
Leverage market-leading automation frameworks and tools across all levels of testing that integrate in the automated CI/CD pipeline.
Participate in the Agile (Scrum) team process and perform standard testing activities with customer experience in mind.
Participate in product design reviews ensuring quality practices are baked into the software development and deployment life cycle.
Document test environment and test data management container strategies and provisioning for different testing activities.
Decompose user stories/requirements to identify tests to be created and automated across all levels of testing.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in testing automation engineering with UI-based and API-based testing.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject (preferred).
Proficiency writing code in JavaScript ES6/TypeScript.
Experience with Cucumber BDD testing framework (Gherkin syntax).
Experience with Node.js or other JavaScript runtime environments.
Experience with CI/CD supporting technologies: GIT, GitLab, Docker.
Experience with testing frameworks/libraries like MS Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or other cross-browser automation libraries (preferred).
Experience with JSforce or other Salesforce API libraries; SOQL knowledge is a plus.
Experience with REST tools such as Postman, SoapUI; familiarity with API testing and mocks/stubs/virtual services.
Extensive knowledge of White Box Testing practices and SDLC best practices including CI/CD and test suite development/maintenance.
Hands-on training ability for existing testers in writing and using automation scripts and ensuring best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication; enthusiastic,Curious, and collaborative.
