Overview
Associate Director of Sales at Place Showroom. Place Showroom is the epicenter for emerging brands. We are a team of highly motivated entrepreneurs with locations spanning the nation, seeking a candidate to join our team on the East Coast. This is a dynamic position to spearhead our contemporary brands with key specialty retailers. The candidate should be a quick learner, self-starter, dependable, proactive, and able to excel under pressure. The role will partner with our Vice President of Sales and President to oversee the East Coast specialty business and lead our specialty sales team to build sales strategies and distribution plans throughout the eastern United States. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional strategic plan for growth and expansion for our contemporary business through existing and new distribution channels across specialty retailers Provide strong leadership and mentor a team through collaboration and teamwork Cultivate strong relationships with key specialty retailers Collaborate with cross-functional partners across sales, merchandising, operations and finance Drive new business development initiatives Qualifications
Extensive experience in the wholesale apparel industry, with strong relationships in the women's contemporary market Strong time management skills; motivated, takes initiative, and works efficiently Excellent written and oral communication skills Good judgment in decision making Professionalism with individuals at all levels in and outside the organization Willingness to adapt to an expanding environment High degree of accuracy and organizational skills Technically savvy, particularly with Excel; knowledge of Showroom Exchange, Joor, NuOrder or similar Ability to travel up to 40% of the year Compensation
