Molex is seeking a Finance Manager to direct and oversee growth in the industrial business unit. This finance role will have an enhanced focus on growth (product portfolio roadmaps, new product investments, and M&A activity) and transformation (improving speed of execution and operations performance). This role is based at our corporate office in Lisle, IL.
What You Will Do
Create financial analyses that are valued by the business, provide insight, and drive profit
Drive the business to exceed financial targets by identifying critical KPIs and linking relevant actions to owners
Collaborate and communicate with commercial teams to provide actionable insights using business language
Analyze profit by segment, product, customer, region, and sales channel to find insights
Analyze plant performance through plant metrics, cost variances, and other operations KPIs
Develop a strong connection between the front-end business and backend operations
Evaluate new product releases and help the business create profitable product roadmaps
Support the research and analytics team and use analytics to drive decision making
Support new acquisition activities by overseeing due diligence and integration
Lead relevant FP&A activities including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, variance analyses, and all other KPI tracking with a focus on driving improvement for the business
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Experience in finance or equivalent business advisory or execution role
Strong analytical skills for interpretation of financial statements
Ability to constantly innovate and challenge existing processes by sharing & seeking knowledge
Works well with others and prioritizes responsibilities to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
What Will Put You Ahead
5+ years of experience in a finance supervisory role
Experience with varied financial reporting and accounting practices in large global companies
Technical knowledge and experience with US GAAP and international accounting principles
International experience and a comfort operating across multiple cultures and geographies
Experience with SAP
For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $160,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
