Director U.S. Marketing, Product Marketing Owner – HCP Strategy, Immunology Crohn’s Disease Indication role at Merck. This role advances the US HCP and Go to Market Strategy for MK-7240 (tulisokibart) in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. It focuses on developing and implementing the US HCP Strategy and execution of field sales and omnichannel campaigns to support the Crohn’s Disease Indication. This is a high-profile position designed to position the candidate for future leadership roles within the Immunology team. Key Responsibilities HCP Strategy: Lead cross-functional teams to define US HCP go-to-market opportunities and develop operational KPIs to measure pre-launch and launch readiness.

Academic Center and Integrated Account Strategy: Define US market AMC and IAM go-to-market opportunities and develop operational KPIs with cross-functional teams.

Branded Campaigns: Collaborate with Global Marketing to define, design, and lead the development and execution of US branded promotional campaigns and messaging.

Build and lead a high-performing Customer Agile Team to develop and execute comprehensive branded campaigns for MK-7240 in the US.

Field Readiness: Develop go-to-market readiness plans to support HCP promotion in the US, including training, pre-launch and launch KPIs, account/hcp prioritization and segmentation, and launch-metric tracking and oversight.

Cross-functional Representation: Represent US Immunology marketing in GCTs, global brand development, insights, sales readiness, medical/legal reviews, and supply-related meetings.

Budget Oversight: Manage budget and spend across agencies, media, and campaign development while maintaining key agency relationships.

Collaboration: Partner with other Product Marketing Owners within the Immunology team to ensure transparency, coordination, and prioritization.

Leadership and Culture: As a member of the US Pharma Immunology marketing team, foster development, inclusivity, psychological safety, transparency, and innovative thinking to drive strong outcomes.

Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (BA/BS). MBA or equivalent preferred.

Requirements Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access (or related) in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries.

Previous brand marketing experience.

Strong leadership with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and executive presence.

Preferred Skills Previous immunology marketing experience.

Understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements and promotional review.

Experience with US product launches.

Familiarity with agile working model.

Location and Travel

Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA – Hybrid Travel: ~25% of the time
