About the Role
Clean Harbors is looking for a Senior Asset Manager for Light Duty Vehicles to manage the lifecycle of light‑duty vehicle assets in Norwell, MA. The role focuses on asset utilization, uptime, ROIC, and maintenance cost minimization.
Base pay range: $58,075 – $183,957 per year (subject to skills and experience).

Responsibilities
Influences design and oversees implementation of appropriate asset preventative maintenance cycles and repair programs, reducing maintenance cost and improving uptime.
Drives continuous improvement of asset performance, including failure analysis, PM monitoring, condition monitoring, and more.
Assists corporate and regional management with life‑cycle positioning decisions and long‑term strategic placement/logistics.
Evaluates asset requests and recommends best solutions, considering refurbishment, high‑quality used, new purchases, leasing or renting.
Manages asset disposal, agreements, and bookkeeping.
Prepares and maintains statistical reports on maintenance, repairs, utilization, depreciation, and financial performance.
Oversees purchasing and build process for new assets from start to finish.
Ensures adherence to utilization and preventative maintenance KPIs.
Provides expert asset management advice to Maintenance, Operations and Management staff.
Stays abreast of advances and technical development within asset categories.
Manages Asset Management Workbench in WIN for the asset group.
Acts as liaison for the Director, Asset Management and backs up leadership in Director’s absence.
Communicates purchase progress to key leaders.
Works with vendor procurement managers to establish long‑term purchasing agreements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
5+ years of experience.
Experience in Asset Management, Fleet Management or Service Management.
Solid project management skills, managing multiple projects cross‑functionally.
Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional project teams.
Financial acumen including ROI, IRR, EOQ and fill‑rate modeling.
Strategic thinker with a big‑picture perspective and data‑driven actions.
Systems and process thinker with strong mechanical aptitude.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel throughout North America.
