To serve Calvary Chapel Boca in worship leading opportunities, volunteer management and recruitment; to mentor and develop discipleship of volunteers in all areas of the worship ministry and the campus as a whole; to assist the Worship Ministry with administrative duties, original music recording and production and ongoing resourcing projects. Responsibilities
Lead worship regularly in weekend services, staff meetings, mid‑week studies, and outreach events. Manage projects and initiatives as determined by the Director of Worship. Assist in administrative office duties and communication with volunteers. Attend monthly worship ministry planning meetings and weekly training meetings. Provide music and resources for vocalists and band members. Discover, evaluate, and introduce new songs for congregational worship. Recruit, disciple, and integrate new volunteers (Worship/AV) into the ministry. Coordinate rehearsal preparation, scheduling, and communication for all worship team members. Oversee venue and production needs with the Production Manager (gear, platform, staging, sound). Occasionally create content for Calvary Music social media platforms. Assist with studio projects, recordings, and original music for Calvary Music. Write and arrange original songs for the church to worship with. Continually develop your own musical skills (vocal, keyboard, guitar). Mentor and disciple the next generation of worship team members and leaders. Participate in one‑off platform ministry opportunities weekly (e.g., outreach, hospital visit, men’s or women’s ministry). Lead or assist in specific ministry areas as assigned (e.g., CYA Ministry, Men’s/Women’s Worship). Provide backup leadership for campus operations in the absence of Campus or Assistant Pastors. Participate in staff meetings and other campus leadership environments. Perform hospital visits or pastoral care duties as needed. Carry out other department‑related tasks as assigned by ministry leadership. Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to connect effectively with staff, volunteers, and the church body. Spiritual gifts of teaching, leadership, administration, service, and discernment. Knowledge of curriculum design, training, and discipleship methods for groups and individuals. A passion for volunteer discipleship—creatively and prayerfully developing leaders within the ministry. Teachability and flexible attitude. Strong computer and organizational skills. Enthusiasm and initiative, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Compassion and empathy for others, earning trust and confidence easily. Experience in applying biblical principles to counsel and care for others. A flexible schedule and willingness to travel for ministry needs. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters. Strong musical gifts and proficiency in at least one worship‑leading instrument. Required Knowledge & Competencies

Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies. Commitment to regular prayer, devotion and worship as part of the role.
