proven operations executive

with 16+ years of leadership experience in

food and beverage manufacturing

to oversee a network of production, packaging, and distribution sites across Texas. This role demands a visionary leader who can blend operational discipline with strategic agility — driving safety, quality, and profitability across multiple facilities while building a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. The Vice President of Operations will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for aligning all plant operations with the organization’s long-term growth strategy, sustainability initiatives, and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Strategy Oversee multi-site manufacturing operations (production, packaging, maintenance, logistics, and warehousing). Develop and execute operational strategies that align with corporate objectives, including scalability, automation, and sustainability. Manage all aspects of plant performance — safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture — ensuring operational excellence at every location. Lead annual operating plans, budgets, and capital expenditure initiatives. Partner with Finance to ensure cost efficiency and strong P&L performance across all sites. People & Culture Lead, mentor, and develop a team of plant managers, operations directors, and functional leaders across multiple sites. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. Drive leadership development and succession planning within operations. Continuous Improvement & Quality Systems Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM principles to optimize throughput and reduce waste. Oversee Quality, Food Safety, and Regulatory Compliance (FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC, OSHA). Implement operational dashboards and KPIs for consistent measurement and improvement across all sites. Partner with Engineering and R&D to implement process improvements and product innovation initiatives. Supply Chain & Logistics Collaborate with procurement, demand planning, and logistics teams to ensure efficient flow of materials and products. Optimize scheduling, inventory turns, and customer service levels through data-driven planning. Support sustainability initiatives through energy management, waste reduction, and resource optimization. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align operations with business growth goals. Represent Operations in executive reviews, customer meetings, and board presentations. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing operational insights and strategic recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, or related field; MBA preferred. 16+ years

of progressive experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing. Proven success managing

multi-site operations

(3+ facilities or >500 employees). Demonstrated expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, SQF, OSHA). Strong financial management, budgeting, and capital planning experience. Excellent leadership, communication, and change-management skills. High comfort level with data-driven decision-making and modern manufacturing systems (ERP/MES). Willingness to travel regularly to plant sites across Texas.
