Overview
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Distinguished Software Engineer to contribute to advanced research and development efforts focused on AI-native workflow acceleration for test and measurement applications. This role is ideal for a seasoned technologist passionate about integrating modern developer practices, scalable cloud-native architectures, and cutting-edge AI techniques to transform how engineers request tests, manage test data, and derive insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prototype, architect, and deliver intelligent systems that streamline and automate traditionally manual workflows. Your contributions will directly shape the future of our AI-driven test and measurement platform. Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and development of AI-native software systems for test code generation, data management, and analytics. Drive architectural decisions for scalable, cloud-native solutions using Rust, Kubernetes, and Azure. Collaborate with research scientists, product managers, and other engineers to translate experimental ideas into production-ready systems. Champion modern software practices including CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and infrastructure-as-code. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to accelerate workflows and improve developer experience. Mentor senior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Qualifications
Proven experience as a senior or principal engineer in high-impact software projects. 10 plus years of Software Leadership and Development 3 plus years of Rust experience Expertise in Rust and strong proficiency in systems programming and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in workflow automation or data analytics. Strong understanding of test and measurement workflows or similar engineering domains is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence across teams and levels. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
