(3) 12-hour shifts Nights | 7 pm – 7 am 36 hours per week Rotational holiday and weekend schedule Job Summary

Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients\' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions

Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested. Completes all documentation in the medical record as required. Interacts with patients and their families effectively. Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks, including bathing and dressing, assisting with toilet use if needed, and feeding them. Assists patients with turning and repositioning in bed and helps them move between bed and wheelchair if needed. Listens to health concerns patients may have and reports those concerns to the nurses. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred; Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification) - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred; Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (Massachusetts) - Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services preferred; Nursing Assistant (LNA - New Hampshire) - New Hampshire Board of Nursing preferred. Experience: 1-2 years preferred working in patient care/elder care. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions; knowledge of medical terminology; strong patient/customer service skills; ability to lift up to 35 pounds; proficient computer skills with electronic medical records.
