Cardiothoracic Surgery OR Advanced Provider III (PA)
Position Information:
The Heart Institute is growing and expanding to support the community and add to our interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery service lines. The right candidate will have experience working in an operating room setting in an advanced provider and/or certified first-assist role. Cardiothoracic Surgery experience is required and may include endovascular vein harvesting, room and patient prep, line placement, and other responsibilities specific to the operating room environment.
Located at Shipley Cardiothoracic Surgery Center
Scheduled procedures are Monday through Friday
Call coverage including nights and weekends on rotation as part of a team
EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for both inpatient and outpatient settings
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program with current, active certification
Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery
BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Required; ACLS may be required as identified/area of specialty
Physician Assistant License Required in the State of Florida; Board-Certified as PA
Must meet credentialing requirements as established by the LMHS Medical Staff Services department. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
