Join GE Appliances as a Senior Area Sales Manager and play a critical role in driving growth and building strong partnerships within New England. You'll manage a dynamic territory representing our innovative Air & Water product portfolio to distributors and customers. Position Senior Area Sales Manager - A&W- Remote- New England

Responsibilities

Lead Sales Initiatives: Prospect, recruit, and onboard new plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (PHVAC) wholesale distributors.

Grow the Territory: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.

Collaborate Strategically: Partner with national account teams and third-party rep firms to execute a comprehensive regional sales growth plan.

Enhance Customer Experience: Deliver customer-specific programs, resolve issues efficiently, and foster trust and long-term engagement.

Communicate Product Value: Lead training sessions and product demonstrations to communicate the advantages of GE Appliances' Air & Water solutions.

Utilize Data Effectively: Use reporting and analysis tools to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Manage Partnerships: Provide leadership and alignment for the Region’s third-party manufacturing representatives.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the plumbing or HVAC industry (vendor or distributor).

Demonstrated ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time throughout New England.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Experience developing and implementing strategic territory growth plans.

A competitive, solutions-oriented mindset and tenacity for tackling challenges with creativity.

This is a remote position in New England with at least 50% travel.

Compensation and Benefits If you’re ready to drive sales growth and make a difference, we want to hear from you! GE Appliances offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including 401(k), medical, dental, and vision healthcare plans, as well as paid vacation. The base salary range for this role is $72,700 – $130,900. Your actual salary will be determined based on your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's requirements and responsibilities. In addition, this position is eligible for a sales incentive.
