Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
Provide proactive tax planning strategies and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and compliance.
Conduct in-depth client meetings to understand their financial situations, discuss tax implications, and offer tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate and organized client financial records, utilizing strong bookkeeping principles.
Stay up-to-date with current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Respond to tax inquiries from clients and tax authorities in a timely and professional manner.
Utilize Intuit Programs.
Collaborate with team members to help the firm fully function.
Qualifications
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Minimum of 5 years of recent, hands‑on experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses.
Demonstrated strong bookkeeping experience.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte & Proconnect) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client‑facing skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
