Job Overview Responsible for the growth of the Mercedes‑Benz USA Vans Sales business (Retail & Wholesale) by driving revenue opportunities across new vehicle sales, digital services, and customer satisfaction. Effective management of the team and the stakeholders in the value chain. Ensure the introduction of appropriate measures as interventions to ensure the achievement of the New Vehicle sales strategy. Foster dealer partner engagement, dedication, high‑performance for profitable dealer growth to support the overall achievement of the new vehicle sales targets. Successfully execute projects, process optimization, process compliance and audit, maintain software and reporting tools. Support the successful introduction of new products in the market.
Responsibilities
Implement effective, attractive and market related sales promotion measures and campaigns to stimulate sales momentum, manage aging stock and financial offers. Ensure effective communication to dealer network of sales measures, rules, processes and understanding. Management of the sales administration team, claims and dealer sales enquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Manage the retail/medium sales channel in supporting the field team with achievement of sales targets as defined on an annual or ad hoc basis. Ensure effective steering and management of team deliverables and outputs to ensure support is provided to teams in retail, used van. Maintain effective and solid working relationships with customers, dealers, internal and external stakeholders in the value chain to achieve the sales objectives. Support the fleet team as needed regarding dealer performance.
Develop and implement appropriate/relevant sales strategies to support the achievement of overarching organizational goals. Ensure a proactive approach to deriving new projects and implementation thereof in keeping with the requirements of digital transformation, changing industry developments and market/economic conditions. Project management, execution and monitoring projects assigned for implementation against project scope, objectives, cost and time to ensure successful execution of outputs.
Manage all department KPI’s and performance of department against agreed measurements inclusive of actively using all available data and reports to improve KPIs such as new vehicles sales KPI’s, stockholding, stock‑turn/age analysis, sales channel developments, campaigns, etc. Optimize continuous improvement by proposing and managing the implementation of enhancements to support the streamlining of business processes, improved turnaround times and effectiveness of team.
Implement strategic projects as defined from time to time to align to overall organizational strategy. Project concept development, management, execution and monitoring as assigned for implementation against project scope, objectives, cost and time to ensure successful execution of outputs.
Lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations on the basis of the mission statement and national/regional targets. Ensure target‑oriented internal communication and task related qualification. Provide for employee and task related qualification regarding the requirements of Compliance. Ensure the achievement of agreed targets.
Responsible for the performance, maintenance and reporting of IC controls within functional areas of responsibility and to ensure full compliance on processes, policies and controls within area of control.
Manage and control the departmental budget to ensure that expenses are within approved budget. Reconciliation and review of the budget on a monthly and annual basis to ensure that all costs are aligned within the budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Marketing/Business
7‑10 years (total) of experience in the following: Automotive sector with specific knowledge on wholesale and retail sales processes; managing teams, deliverables, strategies and sales outputs; sales retail and wholesale management, understanding retail operations at dealer level; management of suppliers, dealers, sales volume, forecasts, planning, profitability & contribution.

Must have a valid driver’s license
