Senior Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our growing mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, strong coding skills in Kotlin/Java, and hands-on experience in building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain advanced Android apps that deliver seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and deliver new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Work with APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud integrations (Firebase, RESTful APIs, etc.).
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
Conduct code reviews, write clean, maintainable code, and follow best practices.
Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and Android development frameworks.
Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of professional experience in education app development.
Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and UI/UX design principles.
Experience with MVVM, MVP, or other modern architecture patterns.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Firebase, Room Database, Retrofit, and Coroutines.
Strong understanding of Google Play Store deployment and app publishing process.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Jetpack Compose and Android Studio Arctic Fox or newer.
Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) or cross-platform frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
Contributions to open-source projects or published apps on the Google Play Store.
