Marketing and Content Developer role at Peraton. The program focuses on advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA\'s BNATCS contract. You\'ll create and manage digital content, social campaigns, and strategic communications that connect technical progress to public purpose. Responsibilities
Provide strategic digital and content counsel to support FAA communications, stakeholder engagement, and outreach initiatives under BNATCS. Develop and manage digital content strategies – including social media, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and video storytelling – that showcase innovation and program milestones. Collaborate with PR, communications, and media teams to identify opportunities for visibility, thought leadership, and community engagement. Manage execution of digital media campaigns across multiple channels (web, social, mobile, video, newsletters, etc.). Build and nurture relationships with online media, influencers, journalists, bloggers, and industry partners to amplify FAA and Peraton messaging. Conduct audience and demographic research to inform targeted media and content strategies. Develop creative assets, presentations, and proposals that translate complex technical programs into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Direct and track digital campaign analytics, reporting on engagement metrics, performance, and ROI. Negotiate media packages, manage vendor relationships, and oversee campaign budgets and invoicing. Provide analytical insights and recommendations to optimize content performance and audience engagement. Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital communications, social engagement, and aviation industry storytelling. Serve as a bridge between marketing, creative, and technical teams to ensure message consistency and brand alignment across platforms. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Required. Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or content development. Proven experience managing multi-channel digital campaigns and content calendars. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging public-facing content. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems. Experience with social media platforms, community engagement, and influencer outreach. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and make data-driven recommendations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work across creative, technical, and executive teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting federal government, aviation, or technology-focused communications initiatives. Familiarity with FAA programs, transportation safety, or national infrastructure projects. Understanding of federal communications guidelines and accessibility standards (Section 508). Experience developing branded content for large-scale modernization or public awareness campaigns. Creative portfolio showcasing digital storytelling, campaigns, or media engagement successes. Compensation : Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. Salary is determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, geographic location, and contract considerations. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses where applicable.
