Overview

Director of Administration role directing staff across Finance; Purchasing; IT Services; Property; Student Records; Food Service and Facilities Maintenance, ensuring departmental programs and standards meet all DOL, FAR, PRH, Center and Serrato Corporation requirements. Complies with PRH and related appendices. Responsibilities

Models, mentors, and monitors appropriate Career Success Standards. Follows CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily. Evaluates personnel under management and makes recommendations regarding disciplinary actions, promotions, and/or merit increases. Monitors Center and Departmental budgets. Supervises in Finance; Student Records; Purchasing; IT Services; Property; Food Service and Facilities Maintenance. Submits all required and requested work to the CD office in a timely manner according to assigned due dates and deadlines. Participates in weekly meetings and related functions. Holds weekly departmental meetings to pass on communications from senior staff and other CD directives and policy changes. Ensures staff accountability to provide quality services to students; maintains daily observation and follow-up. Resolves direct and indirect report conflicts (student-to-student, student-to-staff, staff-to-staff). Supports and adheres to the CDSS plan and Code of Conduct; ensures timely and effective use of ePCDP to support students. Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and center policies. Maintains good housekeeping and safety practices. Participates in PRH mandated staff training; failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to termination. Monitors center facility developments and national office projects; reports progress or concerns to the Center Director. Works as Acting Center Director as needed when the Center Director is away. Qualifications

Strong management and leadership skills. Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience

Three to five years of responsible accounting experience; one to two years of supervisory experience. Proficient with Excel; ability to analyze financial data and communicate results to management. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration required. Master’s Degree preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid State Driver’s License. Benefits
