Function as a technical specialist, and/or have management and/or administrative responsibilities for a group and project(s). Lead process engineering design of chemical facilities, including LNG, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Fertilizers (Ammonia, Urea, etc.), Gasification, Fermentation, Sulfur Recovery, Gas Treatment, Biofuels, Syngas Processing, and NGL Recovery and Fractionation. Lead implementation of solutions through the project lifecycle: feasibility, FEL stages, FEED, detailed design, EPC and commissioning. Mentor junior engineers and review junior engineers' work. Location
The ideal candidate will be located or willing to relocate to either Black & Veatch World Headquarters Office in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City), or our Regional Office in Houston, TX. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in LNG liquefaction design or technologies. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Working knowledge of PRO II, Promax, Protreat, HYSYS and similar process simulation packages. Strong written communications, drive for results, planning, delegation, conflict management, team building, and ability to deal with ambiguity. Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to process engineering. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized accredited program. Minimum of 11 years related work experience. Work Environment
