BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming (Fort Collins, CO) is seeking a Business Development (BD) Consultant who contributes to the organization\'s success by determining the eligibility of prospective businesses and extending an invitation for BBB Accreditation to those who meet all BBB standards of accreditation. The BD Consultant works with professionalism and aims to meet daily performance metrics, including calls, call handle time, quality of calls, and sales targets. Compensation
This range is provided by BBB Serving Northern Colorado & Wyoming. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $58,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Pay structure includes base pay plus commissions and bonuses, with uncapped commission and potential for growth. Responsibilities
Determine eligibility for BBB Accreditation for prospective businesses and extend invitations to those who meet BBB standards. Meet daily key performance metrics, including number of calls, call handle time, quality of calls, and sales targets, with the goal of exceeding monthly sales targets. Explain BBB accreditation value, address questions and concerns, and procure applications along with annual investment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date journal notes on all business communications. Attend BBB sales and other required meetings; undertake other sales-related duties as required. Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 1 year in sales (preferred). Inside sales experience with demonstrated ability to close the sale of an intangible product is a plus. Follow BBB Code of Ethical Sales Conduct; represent BBB professionally at all times. Strong time management and prioritization abilities; proficient with computer software and web-based CRMs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to source leads and respond to inquiries; strong listening and questioning skills. Honest, ethical, and sincere selling approach; high integrity with commitment to BBB mission and values. Ability to work autonomously, recognize issues and opportunities, and take independent action.
