connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: AI Tutor – Mechanical Engineering Specialist. Type: Full-time. Compensation: $90,000–$200,000/year. Location: Based in Palo Alto, CA (in-office, 5 days per week) or fully Remote. Commitment: Typical hours: 9:00am–5:30pm PST during training, then aligned with your local timezone. Role Responsibilities
Use proprietary tools to label, annotate, and evaluate AI-generated data related to mechanical engineering. Provide expert feedback on technical problems and ensure the delivery of high-quality, curated datasets. Collaborate with research and engineering teams to refine annotation tools and data collection methods. Interpret evolving instructions accurately and apply sound professional judgment. Contribute to AI model improvement through rigorous analysis and expert input. Qualifications
Must-Have Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Strong ability to read and write both formal and informal English. Skilled in using online databases, research tools, and technical resources. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and make well-reasoned decisions with limited guidance. Demonstrated passion for technology, innovation, and scientific advancement. Preferred PhD in Mechanical Engineering with substantial professional or research experience. At least one publication in a recognized scientific or engineering journal. Teaching or tutoring experience in engineering or technical subjects. Prior experience in AI data annotation or technical writing. Professional background as a mechanical engineer.
