Well-respected regional property management firm with 37 years in business and an expanding fee management portfolio on the east coast is seeking a resourceful, community-minded team member for the Lead Certified Maintenance Supervisor role. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role includes supervising maintenance technicians and contractors and performing assigned duties safely. Responsibilities
Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair as directed on a daily basis. Electrical - Examine and repair electric circuits and components. Plumbing - Repair and replace piping systems and fixtures, including opening clogged drains. Maintenance of A/C and heating systems. Inspect and repair all components of major appliances. Maintain stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings. Tile, carpet, flooring maintenance and repair. Roofing, gutters, fasteners inspection and repair. Interior/exterior lights; fireplaces and ceiling fans. Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable). Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, and sliding glass doors. Boiler, gas and electric systems. Door locks, mailboxes, and locks. Security systems (where applicable). Ceiling leaks assessment and repair. Walls - Repair damaged plaster/drywall surfaces of walls and ceilings to match existing. Paint - Repair and repaint any areas as required. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in one or more trades preferred. Minimum of 5 years multi-family maintenance experience required. Advanced understanding of principles and procedures of building maintenance. This job requires personal contact with residents and proper conduct at all times. Must maintain a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations. Capable of performing sustained manual labor. Overtime, holiday and weekend work required; ownership of hand tools and being on call. Must have Current Lead-Based Certification.
