Job Description This role works directly with one of Amcor’s Key Accounts. The role provides tactical sales direction and communication strategies to defend existing business and gain new business. This individual works with stakeholders and leadership to implement business and marketing plans for the assigned account, focused on share of wallet growth.

Drive For Results

Ownership of key account, aligning Amcor’s values of safety, collaboration, accountability, results and outperformance into all aspects of the role.

Execute account strategy as directed by leadership to maintain share of wallet and profitability, growing account.

Manage account complexities to support customer requirements and anticipate future needs.

Orchestrate and support key business negotiations, demonstrating an ability to influence decision and actions.

Leverage knowledge of Amcor, our products, the industry and competitive market to enable the business to win.

Deliver sales goals including profitable year‑over‑year growth for the assigned territory.

Relationship Management

Grow relationships with customers based on trust and respect, enabling proactive and complex conversations.

Build collaborative relationships between Amcor and the account to include leadership, marketing, R&D, enhancing sales initiatives and profitability while meeting customer needs.

Build and leverage cross‑functional relationships to support share of wallet growth strategies and commercialization/onboarding processes.

Ensure contractual commitments, inventory management, quality and service key performance indicators are met.

Network externally with key influencers and collaborators such as co‑packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations.

Stakeholder Engagements

Coordinate sales management, R&D, marketing and field service for validation trials and customer trials.

Manage accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department.

Work with Strategic Marketing to identify actions to meet strategic unmet customer needs.

Collaborate cross‑functionally on the implementation of defined strategy (technology, product management, commercial) for the market and targeted segments.

Reporting

Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contributions to the business unit for monthly management reporting.

Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results.

Recognize competitive insights, marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicate intelligence to stakeholders.

Manage Account Planning, pipeline management, profitability improvements and churn management in CRM tool.

What We Want From You

Bachelor’s Degree.

5+ years relevant experience in technical, sales and general management within the packaging or healthcare industry.

Experience working in a large‑scale business‑to‑business environment.

Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60 % of time.

Compensation The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $112,800 to $141,000; base pay offered may vary within $112,800 to $169,200 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan and other benefits.
