Position summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. A smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food Maintaining the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area What you'll do
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future productions and mass production; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality Drive area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, guiding peers, and assisting customers per company policies Be a Talent Ambassador by modeling high-quality service and products and maintaining energy, commitment, and passion for the work Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments if selected Preferred Qualifications Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) – Certification Location and employment details
