Opportunity This position is responsible for all shipping, receiving, and material handling functions within the Boonville NC Warehouse and for managing the Warehouse Supervisors across all Winston Salem Distribution Warehouses, including 5900/Permanent, Lexington, and Rural Hall.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor receiving, shipping, and transporting activities; ensure production lines are serviced efficiently.

Maintain a safe working environment through education, training, and continuous improvement of material handling functions; identify and correct safety deficiencies.

Ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs, GMPs, and work rules.

Maintain proper maintenance of all warehouse equipment, including scheduling preventative and routine maintenance.

Manage inventory through cycle counts and audits; investigate and correct discrepancies.

Document customer requirements and train warehouse personnel accordingly.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations and standards.

Perform supervisory functions such as training, employee development, performance evaluations, and enforcement of company policies for hourly and salaried employees.

Assist all Warehouse Supervisors with any needs that arise at other sites and ensure they comply with Warehouse Supervisor duties.

Monitor capacity levels and workload-to-staff ratios across sites to identify opportunities for adjustments and balance.

Help determine best sites for future warehouse opportunities based on capacity and staffing.

Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure safety, compliance, and drive efficiencies across all sites.

Cover for other Warehouse Supervisors during vacations or absences.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a production environment and prior supervisory experience.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to effectively communicate with management and team members.

Experience in a collaborative team environment, delegating workload and responsibilities.

Ability to assist in the coordination of large‑scale projects.
