Overview
Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You are responsible for ensuring a member’s shopping experience begins and ends positively by maintaining a well-kept environment, including parking lots, restrooms, and floors. You will be on your feet and on the go, and a positive attitude helps ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. What you'll do
Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials per company procedures; correct or report unsafe conditions to management. C lean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) per company procedures using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in line with the Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies; rotate and store chemicals properly; place orders to replenish supplies when low. Compensation
Base pay range : $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
