is seeking a talented and team-oriented Associate Commercial Counsel with 2+ years of relevant legal experience to join their legal team. This role will support a broad range of commercial matters, with a focus on marketing, talent, and loyalty partnerships, while also providing general contract and transactional support across the business. The Associate Commercial Counsel will collaborate closely with internal teams — including marketing, partnerships, and VIP operations — to deliver practical, strategic legal advice in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Location:
Hybrid – minimum 3 days/week in office – NY, NY 10014 Salary:
Up to $210,000 base Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Talent, influencer, and endorsement agreements Sponsorship, marketing, and promotional deals Loyalty, rewards, and customer engagement partnerships Vendor, technology, and service contracts Provide strategic and business-minded legal guidance on contract structures, negotiation strategies, and risk management. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing and promotional initiatives comply with applicable laws and regulations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency. Manage and coordinate with outside counsel as needed. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. 2+ years of legal experience, preferably including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. Experience with marketing, influencer, or talent deals is highly preferred. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with attention to both detail and business context. Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risk with practical business objectives. Effective communicator who can distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders. A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
