We are an outpatient radiology practice seeking an MRI Technologist to operate the Magnetic Resonance operations at SimonMed Imaging centers. This role offers opportunities to advance your skills while working with board-certified subspecialty radiologists in a fast-growing team.

Responsibilities
The MRI Technologist operates the Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) systems at SimonMed Imaging centers.
Apply knowledge of MRI procedures and technology to obtain diagnostic images.
Operate an MRI scanner to acquire images used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
Select imaging techniques, operate the console and peripheral hardware; enter and monitor patient data; transfer images to storage media and to PACS; develop film in automatic processors if applicable.
Obtain images, produce film records/backups from disk to storage media, and manage transfers from desk to PACS.
Maintain accurate study documentation and provide excellent customer service.
Demonstrate competency in job-related skills appropriate to patient populations and departmental services.
Utilize and operate equipment to provide a safe and effective environment.
Adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines related to departmental operations.
Qualifications
Registration as an MR Technologist by the ARRT or ARMRIT.
CPR certification.
Experience
1 year in a fast-paced MRI environment preferred.
Physical Demands This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, with frequent standing and walking.
Dress Attire Business casual or scrubs dependent on department.
