Ross Sportswear creates and produces a collegiate licensed apparel and accessories line named Zoozatz. Our company began 40 years ago with an entrepreneurial spirit and a screen printing set up in a Minnesota garage. We’ve since evolved into a full women’s clothing line for over 500 college campuses across the country, with motivation to outfit students and alumni in trend forward clothing that is designed for women to wear on game day and every day. Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Apparel Tech Designer to join our dynamic design team full time 40 hours a week on site in our Brooklyn Park, MN office. This individual will be responsible for translating creative concepts into technical specifications, ensuring designs are production-ready, and maintaining quality standards throughout the development process. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow in the fashion industry. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the design team to interpret the creative vision, translate into sketches and technical specs and see it through to production. Develop, edit, and maintain tech packs. Manage samples and measure incoming garments and accessories. Analyze and evaluate samples spec, patterns, and construction. Coordinate and conduct fit sessions and review samples to ensure proper construction, fit, and quality while maintaining brand aesthetics. Maintain and track accurate records of fit sessions and development progress. Identify and resolve fit and construction challenges during sample development and production. Communicate with manufacturers about revisions and approvals. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Technical Design, or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator Knowledgeable in cut-and-sew knit construction in women’s and kid’s apparel. Basic understanding of general garment construction, sewing techniques, patterning, and fit. Values clear, compassionate communication and effective collaboration. Able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. able to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Eagerness to learn and develop technical design skills and willingness to help in other areas of the art team as needed. Working Conditions

In Office environment from 9:30AM-6:00PM. Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
